Our history: From insurance defense to your advocate
The story of Moore-Faust Injury Law Group is defined by a unique perspective. Founded in 1975 by four attorneys dedicated to public-interest law, the firm originally focused on resolving complex trials for everyday citizens.
A history of knowing both sides
In the 1980s, the firm’s trajectory shifted as we were recruited to represent major insurance companies. Our expertise was nationally recognized, and we were listed among the few elite firms selected for high-stakes insurance defense.
However, we soon realized our true calling was helping people, not corporate interests. We chose to return to our roots, permanently restricting our practice to representing injured individuals.
What this means for you: For over 20 years, we have used our knowledge of insurance company methods to collect millions of dollars for our clients. Because we have seen the claims process from the other side, we understand how to effectively counter the tactics used to limit your recovery.
The law firm today: A singular focus
Moore-Faust Injury Law Group is not a “general practice” law firm. We do not handle criminal defense, family law, or estate planning. We do one thing, and we do it with unmatched precision: Personal Injury Law.

Our office is more than just a place of business; it is a piece of local history. Located at 924 Quincy Street, in the heart of the West Boulevard Historical District, our building is the renovated home of a Rapid City business pioneer.
